Mrs Radhika R Pai, Mrs Charlet Vaz and Mrs Laveena Anitha Barboza, faculty of Manipal College of Nursing Manipal gave a brief idea on handling and giving first aid measures for burns, falls and injury, fracture, drowning, bleeding, fire safety, snake bite, dog bite etc. An interactive session with demonstration of simple wound dressing and bandaging techniques was also held to give hands-on experience to the participants.  

About 20 parents of anganwadi children have attended the session. First Aid box was given to the anganwadi for their future use, if any. Anganwadi teacher and parents appreciated the session and gave their feedback on the programme. The one hour session was concluded with vote of thanks.
