Guest Lecture
Guest lecture on the topic “Health care delivery system of India” was organized by Pillar 4: Engagement and Alumni Relation on 27th February 2020 at 11.30 am in II floor classroom MCON, Manipal.
Ms Ameeka Shereen Lobo, Consultant, Public Health Foundation of India, Lucknow and Alumnus of MCON Manipal (MSc Nursing 2014-2016 batch) deliberated on different levels of health care delivery system of India. She also focused on the functions of the health system and the role of public and private health care providers. A total of 44 students and PhD scholars were present for the session. Participants clarified their doubts regarding the role of NGOs in the health care delivery system and the challenges faced by nurses at different levels.
