REPORT OF GUEST LECTURE ON LOVE AND GRATITUDE

As part of the Deeksharambha orientation program, the Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing at Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal, hosted an engaging guest lecture titled "Love and Gratitude" on August 8, 2024. Starting at 11:30 am, the one-hour session was designed for first-semester BSc Nursing students. Mr. Jeevan Lewis, Student Counselor at the Department of Student Affairs, MAHE, Manipal, led the session, emphasising the significance and benefits of love and gratitude in personal and professional realms.
The lecture, attended by 149 participants, including first-semester BSc Nursing students and faculty members, was both thought-provoking and motivational. It offered valuable insights into how these concepts can positively influence mental health within the healthcare field. The session concluded promptly at 12:30 pm, leaving attendees with a renewed perspective on maintaining well-being.
